Global Coaching Profession Celebrates International Coaching Week
LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 29, 2012 -- Thousands of people from around the world experienced the
proven power of coaching, many for the first time, during International Coaching Week (ICW),
February 5-11, 2012.
Leading up to International Coaching Week the ICF encouraged coaches to share their planned

Data released from the 2012 ICF Global Coaching Study
Professional coaching is a multi-billion-dollar industry, according to new global research produced
by the International Coach Federation. The 2012 ICF Global Coaching Study found that the estimated
global revenue from coaching to be almost $2 billion ($1,979 million USD) annually. The worldwide
income statistic is derived from the aggregate total of what individual coaches reported earning only
from coaching.
