In Pursuit of Workplace Excellence: San Diego Society for Human Resources Management Presents LUVfest 2012
San Diego SHRM is honored to feature Colleen Barrett, President Emeritus of Southwest Airlines Co., at "LUVfest," a dinner event on February 29, 2012. Ms. Barrett will bring her wealth of experience in every business area at Southwest to discuss how employers engage the workforce to execute their business strategy. The program will be presented as a "fireside chat," with Ms.
Barrett engaging in a personal dialogue with attendees and fielding audience questions.
LUVfest provides an extraordinary opportunity to dialog with Ms. Barrett, who was a member of Southwest's Executive Planning Committee and, as President, oversaw management, leadership and budget responsibilities for a myriad of areas including Labor and Employee Relations and Marketing and acted as Chief People & Administration Officer. Most recently, Ms. Barrett co-authored with Ken Blanchard a book entitled Lead with LUV: A Different Way to Create Success (2010).
At LUVfest, San Diego SHRM is hosting the winners of the 2011 Workplace Excellence Awards. Join Ms. Barrett and 10 of San Diego's most excellent employers in a program designed to share best practices for bringing excellence to the workplace.
Registration Information: Registration fee through January 31st for members is $45 and $55 thereafter. Fees for SHRM At-Large members are $75 and for Non-members/Guests $100.
