FOPConnect.com Wins Emerging Media Award from Summit International Awards
Summit International Awards announced FOPConnect.com as a winner of its prestigious Leader Award in Online Marketing (Other) from the 2011 Summit Emerging Media Award (EMA) competition. "I am honored that we have been recognized by Summit International Awards for our efforts with the FOPConnect website. The trust our clients place in us allows our team to successfully explore the field of emerging media, with impressive results," says 911Media President and Publisher Mark Deitch.
"FOPConnect gives our members new and innovative ways to connect with each other and with the FOP. This award is truly deserved, as FOPConnect leads the way in emerging media," says Chuck Canterbury, Fraternal Order of Police President.
The Summit EMA recognizes contribution and leadership in the field of emerging media. Out of approximately 800 entries from numerous countries, 911Media and FOPConnect.com are recognized as "among those who are willing to forge ahead on the marketing information highway," notes Jocelyn Luciano, executive director of Summit International Awards.
FOPConnect.com supports the mission set forth by its print counterpart, the FOP Journal: to inform, educate and entertain the 319,000 members of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP). The website extends the reach of the magazine in addition to featuring exclusive content covering new products, equipment and procedures relating to police work, lifestyle issues and much more.
